Phlebotomy for Nurses

This 8-hour continuing education course provides nurses with comprehensive knowledge and foundational skills in phlebotomy. Core topics include anatomy and vein identification, venipuncture techniques, the correct order of draw, specimen handling and processing, safety and infection control, and effective patient communication. The course combines didactic instruction with supervised lab practice and concludes with an onsite post-test. Approved for 8 contact hours of continuing education.

Meet the instructor

Odile Saint-Hubert, RN-BSN, MSHIA


Odile Saint-Hubert is the founder of Elevate CEU, a Florida Board–approved continuing education provider. As an experienced educator and registered nurse, Odile specializes in simplifying complex clinical skills and helping nurses build confidence at every level.

She currently teaches at the International Institute for Health Care Professionals (IIHCP), where she is recognized for her supportive teaching style, step-by-step demonstrations, and her ability to make difficult concepts easy to understand. Her classes emphasize safety, vascular access, proper order of draw, anatomy, real-world clinical application, and hands-on skill development.

Odile’s mission is to equip nurses with the knowledge, competence, and clinical preparation required to perform vascular access and other procedures with precision, confidence, and excellence.
