Advanced IV Therapy & CVAD Management (Hybrid, 3.5 Contact Hours)

This 3.5-hour blended continuing education course provides nurses with comprehensive knowledge and practical competency in intravenous (IV) therapy and central venous access device (CVAD) management.

 Learners will explore: 
  • Types and indications of peripheral and central lines

  • Aseptic technique and site care

  • Flushing and locking protocols

  • CLABSI prevention strategies

  • Complication recognition and management

  • Safe medication and fluid administration

  • Documentation and patient education standards

Format:

  • 2.5 hours of online theory through eBook modules and post-test

  • 1 hour of in-person skills validation (hands-on check-off)

  • Final post-test and evaluation required for completion

Odile Saint-Hubert

Odile Saint-Hubert is a Registered Nurse and founder of Elevate CEU, a Florida Board of Nursing–approved provider dedicated to empowering nurses through evidence-based education and hands-on training.
With over 17 years of nursing experience in acute and long-term care, Odile brings expertise in IV therapy, clinical education, and health informatics.

She currently serves as a nursing instructor and clinical skills educator in South Florida, where she teaches fundamentals, IV therapy, and patient-safety practices.
Odile is passionate about helping nurses strengthen their confidence and clinical competence—one skill at a time.
